Grandma April fooled me – I called her to see if she got anyone, she said that she had totally forgotten!!! She had it all planned out to get my mom, and the nurses and doctor at her appointment, but she forgot!!  It is shocking that she would forget, its grandma, and she is the QUEEN of April Fools day…  After chatting to her for a bit, it was time to hang up… I told her I would call her later that evening to find out if she got a few people since I reminded her… She said that sounded great… then said “by the way, have you talked to your mom today?” I replied with, “No, it’s only 8:30am my time, so I haven’t talked to her yet today… Why what’s up?”  Grandma informed me that my mom had cut her finger that morning while she was cutting up some vegetables.  I asked Grandma if she had to go to the doctor, and she said yes, but no stitches were needed.  That was good, I thought, it couldn’t of been that bad then, right?  Grandma suggested I call her, since after today she would be in Florida, and would be traveling with a sore finger, so I agreed, and decided to call my mom after I hung up with Grandma.  After a few moments of talking to my mom, I asked her how her finger was.  She replied with, “My finger????”  Then I realized, my grandma, who is 92 years old, got me on April Fools day, even though I am over 10,000 miles away from her!!!!  I immediately called her back, and she answered as she was giggling on the other end!  She had been waiting for me to call back.  You know, she doesn’t joke for 364 days out of the year, wouldn’t tell a lie for nothing, but one day a year she is the BEST liar in the world, I think she could trick anyone!!!  J
