Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my awesome experiences that I had in Los Angeles, CA. J Luckily for me, my cousin Cole and his wife, America, live near Los Angeles, and they were ready and willing to take Liz, Kristin, and I on an adventure for the day. Since our flight didn’t leave until 11:50pm, we had all day to enjoy the sunny temperatures. Cole and America came to pick us up from our hotel. Our first destination was Target, which wasn’t the coolest place, since we have them at home, but it was fun to be out and about. After Target, came the real adventure… HOLLYWOOD, which was AWESOME, to say the least. First, we went to the famous “Hollywood” sign. We drove through narrow windy streets in order to catch a glimpse of it. It was so cool to see in person, as I have seen it on movies before. After spending time taking pictures near the sign and admiring the beauty of it, it was time to hit up the “Hollywood Stars”. We walked up and down the sidewalk, looking for the names of famous people that we knew. We read the names of Tim McGraw, Walt Disney, Michael Jackson, Henry Ford, Tinker Bell, Bob Barker, and much more. We also were able to see the Kodak Theater, where the Oscars are held.
There was a portion of sidewalk that famous actors and musicians signed the sidewalk, and placed handprints and/or footprints in the cement. Here we saw John Wayne’s footprint and signature! It was really neat!
Overall Hollywood was pretty cool!!
Lots of Love!
